The swimming pool construction project at Libertyville High School will result in new parking rules, too.

Students and visitors can park in the lot on the east side of the building, as usual.

But only students will be allowed to park in the lot near the tennis courts, while the lot on the north side of the building will be reserved for employees.

Additionally, on-campus student parking will be reserved for seniors who won spots in a lottery. The parking lot at the Brainerd athletic compound east of the school will be reserved for seniors, too.

That means juniors intending to drive to school will need to park elsewhere.

Student parking will be available at Butler Lake Park, the Butler Lake fishing pier and Nicholas-Dowden Park.
