Arlington Heights man charged in stabbing
A 34-year-old Arlington Heights man was charged with aggravated battery after he stabbed another man early Saturday morning, police said.
Alberto Malaga-Antele of the 1100 block of East Algonquin Road was arrested after he stabbed a 25-year-old man in the leg at 2:41 a.m. at the apartment complex where he lives, said Arlington Heights police Commander Nick Pecora.
The victim was not seriously injured, he added.
Malaga-Antele will appear in Cook County Circuit Court Monday morning for a bond hearing in Rolling Meadows, Pecora said.
