Palatine Park District seeks input on rec center plans

If you want to have more of a voice in the planning of park facilities, the Palatine Park District is offering just that opportunity.

The park district is looking for eight to 10 residents who are interested in taking part in a review committee to help direct development of a planned recreation center at Falcon Park.

Interested individuals should submit the following information: name, address, and a brief description of their background, capabilities and experience. This information should be e-mailed by Monday to the Palatine Park District's Executive Director Ron Gbur at rgbur@palatineparks.org.

The park board and staff have been working toward the goal of building the district's third recreational center (in addition to Birchwood and the Community Center) at the 14-acre Falcon Park, located just east of Hicks and Rand roads in Palatine.
