Broadway hit 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' is coming to Chicago

Take note theater-loving muggles: The Broadway hit "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is coming to Chicago in September.

The show will run Sept. 10 to Feb. 1, 2025, at the James M. Nederlander Theatre, 24 W. Randolph St., Chicago.

Winner of six Tony Awards, including best play, the show is set 19 years after the J.K. Rowling book series ends. The story revolves around Harry's son Albus, who strikes up a friendship with the son of Harry's rival, Draco Malfoy, while at Hogwarts and travels back in time to alter the future.

The play is suitable for ages 8 and older. It runs three hours and 30 minutes.
