Chicago singer Michael McDermott hits the Park West for his annual Halloweensteen performance, a tribute to the music of Bruce Springsteen. The Duke Street Kings will kick off the show.

Des Plaines-born alt-metal/punk band Wolf Rd takes the Halloween weekend by the (devil) horns, throwing its own daylong music festival at Cobra Lounge Saturday. The Monster Mosh features fan and band costume contests, drink specials and two stages of music from Chicago-area and touring acts Supercorp, Four Stars, Goof, Ghoul For A Goblin, Hardly, Cut Your Losses, Roderik, Skylar Love, LUCA, Do Not Call List, 45 Fix, Mitch Rip, Soapbox Deluxe and The Old Way. Stick around later for a wicked after-party hosted by Emo Social Club.

High Seas Halloween

Groove to the smooth hits of the '70s and '80s as the Yacht Rock-ettes play for the Venue's High Seas Halloween Party, complete with island-themed cocktails, costume contests and more.

The 1975

The UK #1-selling pop-rock band The 1975 heads to the suburbs this weekend with its "Still ... At Their Very Best" tour, coming to Rosemont Sunday along with bedroom-pop singer Dora Jar.
