Carpentersville celebrating Hispanic culture with Fiestapalooza

Carpentersville will host Fiestapalooza on Saturday to coincide with Mexican Independence Day.

The festival, which also marks the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, will be held from noon to 11 p.m. at Carpenter Park, 351 Carpenter Blvd.

Organized by the village of Carpentersville, the event will feature local food vendors, music, and more than 50 clothing and shoe vendors as part of The Burb Vintage Fest from noon to 6 p.m.
