Naperville Park District kicking off summer outdoor movie series Friday

The Naperville Park District is starting its free summer outdoor movie series on Friday.

"Minions: The Rise of Gru" will begin at 8:30 p.m. on Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave., in downtown Naperville. Attendees should bring folding chairs or a blanket.

Other movies being shown this summer include "School of Rock," "Strange World," "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" and "Lightyear."

"School of Rock" and "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" will be shown at the 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Drive.
