Foo Fighters, The Cure, Death Cab heading to Riot Fest

Early-bird three-day passes sold out in just over a half-hour Monday night, but tickets to Chicago's Riot Fest are back at the box office after this morning's lineup announcement.

The fest - set to rock Douglass Park Friday through Sunday, Sept. 15-17 - confirmed appearances by headliners The Cure, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age and a dual set from The Postal Service/Death Cab for Cutie.

The 90-plus band bill also features sets by Eshu Tune (Hannibal Buress), The Mars Volta, Turnstile, Tegan and Sara, The Gaslight Anthem, AFI, Hawthorne Heights, Insane Clown Posse, Microwave, Frank Turner, Flogging Molly and many others, including Chicago's own 100 Gecs and the return of suburban-born Spitalfield.

General admission three-day passes start at $249.98, with VIP, Deluxe and Deluxe+ packages also available. Single-day tickets will go on sale later this summer. Visit riotfest.org for details.
