Raging on

Libertyville native Tom Morello and Rage Against the Machine - the heavy-driving rock band probably best known for the hits “Guerrilla Radio,” “Killing in the Name” and “Bulls on Parade” - announced they'd be reuniting and heading around the globe on the “Public Service Announcement Tour” starting in 2020. Twice postponed, Morello and the band are finally heading to Chicago next week for two early-week shows with Run the Jewels.

8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, July 11-12, at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., Chicago. Tickets start at $125; tickets purchased for the postponed 2020 and 2021 shows will be honored. (800) 745-3000 or ticketmaster.com.

California rock band Third Eye Blind celebrates 25 years of its self-titled breakout release (set faves “Semi-Charmed Life,” “How's It Going To Be” and “Jumper” took over the airwaves in the late '90s) with the “Summer Gods: 25 Years in the Blind Tour,” which comes to Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion Friday. The tour includes Taking Back Sunday and Hockey Dad.

7 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island, 1300 S. Linn White Drive, Chicago. Tickets start at $36; VIP packages are available. pavilionnortherlyisland.com.

DZ Fest 10
