WeGo Drama stages Marvel 'Squirrel Girl' play

WeGo Drama enters the Marvel Universe with "Squirrel Girl Goes to College."

The play is from the "Marvel Spotlight" series of school stage shows that feature Marvel comic book characters. "Squirrel Girl Goes to College" is by playwright Karen Zacarías ("Mariela in the Desert," "The Sins of Sor Juana") and is about how the title heroine adapts to college while also fighting the forces of Doctor Doom.

 

Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24 and 25, at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St. (Entrance F), West Chicago. Tickets are $8 for the general public and $5 for students. Masks are required for all audience members. Visit wegotheatre.com for more information.
