Sound check: Jukebox the Ghost revisits 'Everything'

Jukebox redux

East Coast-based Jukebox the Ghost took to the internet last month for the first of a two-part streaming series exploring the band's earlier albums. Bubbles, families and fun

Chicago Children's Theatre is blasting families into summer with its Little Jams festival, a weekly outdoor and interactive children's music event featuring performances from Chicago-area artists and the group's in-house rock stars: Ariana Burks, Nick Davio, Lily Emerson, Yuri “The Human Beat Box” Lane and Xavier Roe. Each Saturday and Sunday from May 15 to June 6, Chicago Children's Theatre will present two fast-paced and high-energy shows at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. - starting off this weekend with Glen Ellyn musician Ralph Covert of Ralph's World - to audiences in drive-in fashion (Car Pods) and seated areas for families who walk or bike to the show (People Pods). Space is limited to ensure safe distances between attendees, so reserve a spot early.

9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16, in the parking lot at Chicago Children's Theatre, 100 S. Racine, Chicago. $55 per pod of up to six people (children under 18 months admitted free) at chicagochildrenstheatre.org.
