Pop legend Madonna and her “Madame X Tour” kick off seven nonconsecutive nights of performances at the Chicago Theatre Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 16 and 17. Don't have tickets to see the groundbreaking artist's act? Worry not, because the show returns five more times Oct. 21, 23, 24, 27 and 28. (Note: If you had tickets to the original kickoff date Tuesday, Oct. 15, they will be honored for the rescheduled show Monday, Oct. 28.) Ticket purchases also include a digital download of June's “Madame X” release. Lombard's BrauerHouse throws open the doors for Sunday's Punk Rock Bazaar, a flea market/concert combo that draws a variety of vendors and some incredible musical acts for an afternoon of family fun. A night with Pözzi, Hoodie Allen
Pop-leaning frat-rapper Hoodie Allen brings his “Whatever USA: Phase One Tour” from New York to Chicago for an all-ages House of Blues show Sunday. Allen, who released his “Whatever USA” album this summer, will be joined by singer-songwriter Jake Miller. As a special added bonus, St. Charles music producer Pözzi (Marcello Positano), who just released his new four-song “Good Bad Girl” EP for streaming and purchase, will be playing an aftershow in HOB's Foundation Room after Hoodie Allen's set. 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at House of Blues, 329 N. Sister act
With the recent release of “Hey, I'm Just Like You,” the indie-influenced pop-punk sister act Tegan & Sara embarked on a headlining tour of intimate performance spaces. The shows - including the Tuesday, Oct. 15, performance at Evanston's Cahn Auditorium - will feature the twins in acoustic mode, along with revamps of older Tegan & Sara songs, home videos and memoir readings, giving an up-close and personal look at the musicians. 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Cahn Auditorium, 600 Emerson St., Evanston. $39.50-$79.50. Indigenous Peoples Concert
Chicago-area artist OPLIAM - Liam McDonald - will take the Old Town School stage along with Frank Waln and the NuFolk Rebel Alliance for the Indigenous Peoples Concert, a night showcasing the diverse and vibrant talents of Native American musicians. The Minnesota-native OPLIAM, who also coproduced the event, hopes it can help boost consciousness and awareness of native cultures through the arts. 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Old Town School of Folk Music's Gary and Laura Maurer Concert Hall, 4544 N.
