Where to catch suburban fireworks
<b>Editor's note: This list has been updated to include Oak Brook canceling its Wednesday, July 3, fireworks due to severe weather and field conditions, according to the Village of Oak Brook website.</b>
Independence Day is fast approaching, but why wait until July 4 to enjoy fireworks in the suburbs?
Options abound, with the first displays set for dusk Saturday, June 29. Here's a town-by-town breakdown:
Antioch
9:15 p.m. Thursday, July 4, on Main Street. Part of the all-day Antioch Independence Day Celebration, which includes music, a fun fair and more. Free. www.antioch.il.gov.
Arlington Heights
