Alan Parsons to perform at Genesee

Alan Parsons Live Project is coming to the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan for a concert in September.

The show is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. Tickets range from $47.50 to $110. Presale tickets are available from 10 a.m. Wednesday until 10 p.m. Thursday with the presale code GENESEE, before going on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17.

The Grammy Award-winning Parsons brings back the progressive, symphonic rock hits of the Alan Parsons Project, including "Eye in the Sky" and "Time."

Parsons had already earned accolades for his engineering work on the Beatles' "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" before forming his own band. Between 1976 and 1984, the Alan Parsons Project scored eight Top 40 hits and produced a string of eight gold and platinum albums.
