Kenny G, UB40 coming to the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan
Fans of smooth jazz and/or reggae-ska will want to head to the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan for two recently announced September concerts.
The Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kenny G ("Songbird," "Forever in Love") will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5. Tickets are $49.50 to $89.50, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17.
British reggae-ska band UB40 ("Red Red Wine," "Kingston Town") will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. Tickets are $35-$75, and are on sale now.
