There's still time to take advantage of Geneva Restaurant Week, as restaurants are running specials now through Sunday, Jan. 27. Lunch and dinner deals typically range from $9 to $39, and some include multiple courses and/or a drink. Bourbon dinner at Wildfire

If you're a fan of bourbon, make reservations now for Wildfire Lincolnshire's Beam Suntory Bourbon Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25. The $100 dinner starts off with stuffed shrimp scampi and honey-bourbon chicken meatballs paired with Jim Beam Black. Next up is Basil Hayden's-brown sugar glazed Faroe Islands salmon with Basil Hayden's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The main course consists of roasted maple whisky rack of pork and Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky. End the meal with roasted apple crostata and Jim Beam Vanilla. Libation Trail Tastin' Tour

It's almost here: The first Libation Trail Tastin' Tour, a brewery bus tour from Visit Lake County and Vorlauf Brew Tours, rolls out at noon Sunday, Jan. 27. The tours starts at Half Day Brewing Company, 200 Village Green, Lincolnshire, before traveling by luxury shuttle to Roaring Table Brewing in Lake Zurich, Tighthead Brewing in Mundelein and then finishing back at Half Day. The tour, which ends at 5 p.m., includes catering at Half Day Brewing, a craft beer tour guide, three beers (one per location), one surprise bus beer, a VIP brewery tour at Tighthead Brewing, a survival goody bag, and “Jebeerdy” trivia and prizes. Sake supper

Get ready to expand your palate when Roka Akor Oak Brook hosts a special Chef's Table Sake Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30. Executive chef Ce Bian has created five specialty pairings with sake from Tenzing Wine & Spirits. Start off with Okunomatsu Sparkling Sake before moving on to the first course of Werps Farm salad, hamachi tataki, escolar tataki and Wakatake Demon Slayer. Second course features a sashimi platter with three to five kinds of sashimi and Dassai 50, while third course offers tiger shrimp tempura, dynamite scallop maki and Kotsuzumi Balance “A Roka Akor Exclusive Collaboration.” Course four is yuzu miso black cod, sweet corn with garlic soy butter and Dassai Nigori Cloud 50. The Heritage will tempt your taste buds when it partners with Timberfeast Farm for a four-course prix fixe Duck Dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30.
