Sound check: Bob Seger plays rescheduled show in Rosemont

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band

One of America's musical legends, Bob Seger, brings his Silver Bullet Band to Rosemont for a rescheduled appearance this weekend. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame helped rewrite the musical landscape, especially in the '70s and '80s, bringing a smoky romanticism with gritty hits “Night Moves,” “Turn the Page,” “Hollywood Nights,” “We've Got Tonight” and perennial favorite “Old Time Rock and Roll.” Catch Seger and the band at the Allstate Arena as they celebrate Seger's nearly five decades in music. 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Allstate Arena, 6920 Mannheim Road, Rosemont. This event has been rescheduled from Nov. 17, 2017; tickets for the original event will be honored. (800) 745-3000 or rosemont.com/allstate/.
