A critical look

War serves as the backdrop for Donald Margulies' Tony Award-nominated relationship drama "Time Stands Still." In the play, injured photojournalist Sarah and her foreign correspondent boyfriend, James, re-evaluate their relationship and their journalistic ethics after a visit from her editor and his young girlfriend. The United Kingdom's indie-popsters The Wombats first rose above the din with their 2007 studio debut album, "A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation," and the breakout hits "Moving to New York" and "Let's Dance to Joy Division," a rhythmic treat that self-referentially points out the irony of its own existence. They've since released two follow-up albums, with a fourth on the way.
