Don't want to toss your favorite T-shirts? Adopt a blanket policy

For some people, T-shirts are memories. Memories of a concert, an event, a special moment in time.

People have T-shirt collections, made up of shirts they love but rarely wear. Which is why, already this year, hundreds of suburban customers have turned to Campus Quilt Company to help them convert their T-shirt collection into something useful, like a quilt or a bedspread. The company uses both sides of a T-shirt and offers all sorts of customization options.

If there's just a single T-shirt involved, the company can make it into a pillow. See all the options at CampusQuilt.com.

Leigh Lowe started the company nine years ago, as an MBA thesis project at the University of Louisville. Since then, she's expanded her business and made thousands of quilts for customers all over the world.
