Can you buy first family fashions here?

You can't get Jason Wu gowns or Isabel Toledo wool dresses at your favorite suburban mall, but some of the designer lines worn by the first family of Fashion on inauguration day are available.

The most familiar and affordable line is J. Crew Crewcuts, which Sasha and Malia wore. While their outfits were custom made, similar items are sold at J. Crew stores in Schaumburg, Oak Brook, Deer Park and at the outlet store in Aurora.

Michelle's outfits also were one-of-a-kinds, and are headed to the Smithsonian. But some of the designers sell their wares here.

If you're a fan of the first lady's fashion, there's now a Web site that tracks her every outfit - www.mrs-o.org.

The rings and earrings "Mrs. O" wore on inauguration day were by celebrity jewelry designer, Loree Rodkin, who sells her products at two places in Chicago: Ikram, 873 N. Rush St., and Neiman Marcus, 737 N. Michigan Ave.

Michelle's green Jimmy Choo shoes are no longer available, but the designer has a boutique at 63 E. Oak St., in Chicago.

In case anyone cares what the star of the show was wearing, the president's tuxedo was by Hart Schaffner and Marx. The designer line is sold at Executive Clothier in Prospect Heights, Phillips Men's Wear in Barrington, Leonard's Fine Men's Clothing in Elmhurst and at local Nordstrom stores.
