A great holiday suprise

On Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 28, I returned to Libertyville from a Chicago downtown appointment on Metra's regularly scheduled Milwaukee North Line commuter train. Nothing abnormal until I boarded the train. All five cars of the train were open and drenched in countless holiday lights, decorations and music. It was spectacularly well done. Regularly scheduled train, normal priced ticket, and I got a beautiful fantasy ride.

I am aware of Metra's specially scheduled holiday trains, but I had no idea that there are regularly scheduled trains that did anything like this. I later found out that many of Metra's commuter lines offer these on a daily schedule. A fantastic and fare-friendly family ride, maybe to the downtown Christmas market?
