Capsule disappointment

It was great to hear that the Schaumburg Library was able to unearth their time capsule from 1998 and enjoy their memories. Unfortunately for former Whitman School students from 1991/92, their time capsule may remain buried forever.

District 21 and Whitman told us years ago that they didn't have capital funds available to retrieve the capsule. But it is interesting that they found the funds for the District 21 Taj Mahal on Dundee Road.

Lesson to be learned by the administrators: Don't start a project with the students and then have no responsibility for its outcome.
