Letter: Sheriffs just following the lead of the governor
Congratulations to the county sheriffs that aren't enforcing the new law taking away our Second Amendment right.
Interesting that Gov. Pritzker has no problem not enforcing our immigration law by making Illinois a sanctuary state but he's upset that the sheriffs aren't going to uphold this law. All they are doing is following his lead.
Once again, a bit of hypocrisy from our governor.
It's also of interest that none of these gun control advocates are using the same arguments when it comes to "assault weapons" such as knives or vehicles. Why aren't they advocating control and banning of those weapons? How about the abortion tools that are used to assault defenseless babies in the womb? Aren't they assault weapons?
