Letter: 'Big Lie' and inflation

The Democratic Party failed to notify the voting public the cause of inflation that gave rise to higher prices prior to the midterm election.

The Republican Party blamed the current administration, with no blowback by a single Democrat on Capitol Hill.

Not one Democrat cited the testimony of one of Trump's inner circle, a witness in a Jan. 6 committee hearing, that the "Big Lie" was primarily the cause of a worldwide economic crisis.

Vladimir Putin paid attention, thinking he would overturn the election and give him the incentive to invade Ukraine.

The new Republican House majority may restrict Ukraine funding, allowing Russia to overcome the Ukraine resistance and win the war.

Is this not the intention of the new versions of the USSR and Republican Party - to resurrect Stalinism and allow the eventual demise of democracies around the world?
