Letter: What Bannon really advocates

I would like to clear up Karen Wagner's confusion about Steve Bannon's view about the administrative state and the constitution. He believes that the legislature and not some unelected individual or group (administrative state) should make the law. That is what the constitution says. Let me site two examples.

A farmer has a large pond in the middle of his property. An individual at the EPA (administrative state) declares the pond navigable waters and is subject to federal rules for large bodies of water like the great lakes. Bannon argues no, only the legislature (elected officials) can make that determination.

A single fly deemed to be an endangered species is found in a grape orchard. An individual at the EPA (administrative state) says the orchard must be shut down and the grapes cannot be harvested. Bannon argues that only the legislature (elected officials) can make that decision.

Steve Bannon is a strict constitutionalist. I have no idea where Karen comes up with her viewpoint on dictatorships and other subjects she espouses. Find out for yourself. Download Real Americas Voice and listen to Bannon for yourself. You decide.
