Letter: Liz Cheney, why not move to Illinois?

OK, you hate Trump? I get it. Why you hate him never has an answer other than, "I just hate him."

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion. That's why we have options when we vote.

Republicans in Wyoming overwhelmingly told Liz Cheney that her hatred of Trump went more than a bit too far. Pretending to be a nonpartisan participant in the Jan. 6 hearings did not sit well with voters out west. Liz did not just get rebuffed; they told her that her turning her back on her party was not appreciated.

Of course, Democrats have praised her with kudos beyond those laid on Joan of Arc. This praise not only irritated Wyoming voters, it set a stage for trouncing Ms. Chaney into becoming a private citizen once again.

Liz, if you want to continue in politics, move. My suggestion is that you now become a Democrat openly and move to Illinois. Here you will have no chance of being defeated. Voters in Illinois have a habit of doing the same things over and over again, expecting a different result. You could run for the vacant Adam Kinzinger seat, allowing you to continue your anti-Trump campaign.
