Letter: Wrong candidate facing Pritzker

I knew Darren Bailey wasn't the person to take on J.B. Pritzker. That's why I voted and campaigned against him. It's unfortunate that a majority of my fellow Republicans voted for him. Between his words when there was active shooter in Highland Park (let's move on and celebrate) and his ghastly comments on the Holocaust and abortion, it's clear Bailey lacks the intelligence and moral character required to lead Illinois.

I won't be voting for J.B. Pritzker, but I cannot in good conscience mark a ballot by the name of a stop-the-steal democracy denier like Darren Bailey. Republicans need to wake up and do better.
