Buying votes on loans
Student loan forgiveness makes me furious. There is no more of an unfair tax now in place. I'm a union contractor. Contractors such as electricians, plumbers, cement masons etc. fund apprenticeship programs by contributing from their profits to maintain training programs for their union technical schools. Why should we, along with non-college workers, pay anything for the benefit of all college graduates and graduate students?
Why should students that paid for their own college in the past pay for those who knowingly agreed to repay their loans and now don't want to fulfill their contract? This is just another way for politicians to buy votes.
