Letter: Prayers and abortion

I recently attended the Stations of the Cross on Friday, April 15, outside the Access Health Center in Downers Grove to pray for the end of abortions at this facility and everywhere. It was encouraging to pray with the approximately 100 other people who were there. Young mothers and fathers are choosing life for their babies every day because of these prayers.

"The greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?" - Mother Teresa
