Slowing climate change still within our grasp

A recent study in the journal Nature has demonstrated we can still limit climate change to 2 degrees of warming over preindustrial times, which would leave us a livable world.

To do so, countries across the globe - especially the wealthy countries in North America and Europe - must stick to our promised emission cuts over the next 30 years. There is some level of agreement across the political spectrum on the need for climate action.

Many Democrats and Republicans have expressed support for a price on carbon as part of this action.

This policy would go a long way toward helping us reach our climate goals.
