Accountability for Jan. 6

Recently, David Clark wrote in a letter to the editor that it was time to move on from the Jan. 6 investigation of the attack on the Capitol. I would argue that this investigation is most important in finding out the why and wherefore, as to who was responsible for this attack on the Capitol. Already far right extremist groups have been indicted for their role and hundreds of citizens have also been convicted for their role in these attacks.

This, to me, was nothing more than an act of treason against a duly elected Congress and an attempt to overturn a fairly conducted election. Those found guilty, and that includes members of the government, must be held accountable and punished.
