Offensive, but different
There was a comment comparing Kathy Griffin and her severed Trump head to Rep. Gosar and his cartoon showing a staged killing of a colleague. Both were reprehensible. Kathy Griffin did lose many gigs and was brought to task. I give no leeway to the violence of the horrible joke. But there is a bit of a difference. Kathy Griffin is not a leader in Congress. Nor did she threaten a colleague. I don't have to ever watch or listen to Kathy Griffin again. Yet, I have no control of the representative who repeats and resends this horrible cartoon back in circulation even after he was admonished.
