Finding larger truths

Keith Peterson's and Michael Barone's separate commentaries in the Daily Herald on Nov. 30 couldn't have been more the same and more different. Both wrote of blame, credit, failure and responsibility. Where Mr. Peterson took a rational, big picture view, Mr. Barone took an emotional, narrow view, even implying that the people shot in Kenosha somehow or other deserved it. Throwing "facts" at an issue as Mr. Barone did, does not necessarily lead to a larger truth.
