How Biden can recover popularity

I read the other day that President Biden's support continues to erode. I would offer the president the following advice.

First, politically, follow the precedent of President Clinton and break toward the middle.

Many of us are exhausted by the extreme actions of the far left and far right which have been in vogue the last 12 years. We need moderation in government.

If you want your legacy to be truly worthy of kudos and celebration then make all the effort you can muster to foster cooperation between the parties.

The acrimony, harshness, recrimination and paralysis of the past 12 years does not bespeak of a great nation. To get the two parties together to govern is not an easy goal but a noble one.

Finally, I would propose that of all the minority interests you support, you move the institution of marriage to the top of the list. Marriage needs an advocate.

This fundamental building block of a civil society is disparaged more than advocated.

I think if marrying could again be seen as a requirement for child rearing, many of the societal problems currently in ascendancy would come under control.
