Leaders using holidays to help divide the nation

Our great country is made up of a very diverse population. It is a travesty that some of the leaders -- namely President Biden, Gov. Pritzker, Mayor Lightfoot, etc. -- are so determined to cause controversy and spread hate among good Americans.

Monday, Oct. 11, was a national holiday in observance of Christopher Columbus' achievement of landing in the Americas. The president decided to also declare it Indigenous Day.

It could have been any of the other days that are not dedicated to a certain culture. The majority of Americans appreciate the liberty and freedom we are so grateful to enjoy in the USA.

I personally feel that some of those who hold power today are using it to control our lives following the road to fascism.
