A good idea to encourage vaccinations

I read the Daily Herald Back Page article regarding the "Protect Chicago Music Series" allowing only vaccinated people to attend. It seems like a great idea, and I encourage the governor and mayor to direct all major audience-attended activities to do the same throughout the summer season. That would include major sports, concerts, movies etc.

This would provide incentives to all the non-vaxers with a significant reason to get the shot. Seems that this would appeal most to our younger and middle-aged citizens, those being the least vaccinated group. As for the Governor and Mayor's authority to dictate this kind of action, I see no difference in what they already have done in closing bars and movie theaters in attempts to keep us all as safe as possible. This would also let the various venues increase to full attendance and improve their revenue stream.
