A plan for final stages of pandemic

The principal problems that I see will be to manage the phase-out of social distancing and mask use when there is a mix of vulnerable population with population that is protected by either vaccination or experience. Develop a UV fluorescent dye that could be deployed to provide semi-persistent tattoos reminiscent of hand stamps at concert venues that would serve to identify protected individuals at airports, train stations, etc.

When people are vaccinated or test positive for COVID-19 antibodies, they receive a mark that is easily viewed under ultraviolet light at public locations such as airports, train stations. The mark should erode away over time so it would need to be renewed with re-vaccination or subsequent positive antibody test. The mark could include information deemed important such as test date, expiration date of "protection" or where valid.

This would create a viable test which could be used to differentiate who needs to continue wearing a mask and maintain social distance. I will not pretend that there are no problems to solve in implementing this proposal. I leave that to experts more qualified than I am.
