A subject worth attention of cancel culture

Cancel culture has now overtaken political correctness. Political correctness merely justifies the destruction of historical statues, renaming of public schools named after our forefathers who built this nation and redefining or better yet re-imagining the history and birthplace of this great country. One of the most patriotic accomplishments of the Trump Administration was the creation of the 1776 Commission whose declared purpose was to "enable a rising generation to understand the history and principles of the founding of the United States in 1776 and to strive to form a more perfect Union." It was a Day One Biden executive order casualty.

Cancel culture's victims include Dr. Suess books, Pepe Le Pew, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Speedy Gonzales, Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead just to name a few of our childhood favorites. Next it might be Casper the Ghost or heaven forbid Rocket J. Squirrel. And then next it might be the beautiful Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve named after the notorious pirate Jean Lafitte. There is no end in sight for this insanity. Cancel culture is taking over and it is aimed at anyone who doesn't toe the line, and that includes you. One mistake, whether it was yesterday, today or 20 years ago, you are history.

However, if you really embrace this cancel culture stuff, you might want to make some actual good use of it. Cardi B has a hit that has placed No. 5 on Billboard's top 100 hits and it placed No. 1 on NPR's list ... that is National Public Radio. The name of the song is "WAP." What is most offensive are the lyrics. I implore all parents with teenage kids to Google the lyrics of "WAP." Just do it ... then make good use of cancel culture.
