Groenwald a big asset to Mount Prospect Library

Rosemary Groenwald knows Mount Prospect and knows libraries. She's lived in town for over 40 years, raised her family here and has been an invaluable asset to our library's management team for the past several years. We are so fortunate that, now upon retirement, she is looking to transition from staff to trustee.

As a library user and as a 19-year trustee myself, I worked closely with Rosemary on many projects. I was always impressed by her strategic vision and approach to some of the most challenging and complex issues we faced throughout my tenure on the board. Her in-depth knowledge of the budgeting and long-range planning processes, behind-the-scenes technical and IT know-how and strong commitment to the best patron services are the qualities we want in a trustee.
