Weinstock in Glenbard High School Dist. 87

I am proud to call Judith Weinstock my District 87 school board president. My husband and I have lived in Glen Ellyn for 50 years. Our daughters attended Glenbard West in the 1980s, and our granddaughters are current students in the District 87 schools.

Over the past several years, I have observed the benefits our community enjoys because of Judith's dedication to the community as she weighs the needs of students, educators and administration with the concerns of the taxpayers.

Under Judith's stewardship of District 87, academic rigor has been maintained to the extent that my granddaughters have recently been accepted at Boston University, University of Michigan, Purdue, University of Indiana and Belmont, several of those universities offering generous merit scholarships.

Judith is committed to maintaining our strong public education system. She works with educators, parents and the school district administration to ensure that policies continue to protect students, their families and our property values. Our property taxes and our daughter and son-in-law's property taxes have remained fair and affordable, an excellent return on our investment, even as retirees.

I admire Judith Weinstock as a compassionate, honest and dedicated member and president of our school board. I am truly honored to have her represent me, the students, their families and the community of District 87.

Please join me in voting for Judith Weinstock on Tuesday, April 6!
