Vote for best-informed

Palatine Township elections are coming up, yes, Mr. Haak. There are signs popping up in blue and brown, some Democratic, some Republican, latter borrowing Democratic blue oftentimes, and listing individual names. Some communities do better than others, because they have residents who are wealthier than others. But all pay taxes. I believe in nonpolitical ideologies and pick the best people for a certain job, in particular our teachers should be totally unbiased, but be well versed in history and politics. Could we think along these lines, Mr. Haak? Could we be fair? The only difference in politics I see is that Democrats raise taxes and try not to go across the line, but tax richer people more, in order to maintain and improve our infrastructure. Republicans, on the other hand, lower taxes to be elected. But that increases our deficit to a point of being unable to maintain and improve to the benefit to the community.

Could we all vote the best informed and educated person for each position, be it in education or running a community? Could we put Palatine Township into a basket of being fair, logical and educated? It is truly not that hard to be accepting and hate less.
