Pipeline job losses

The State Department defines a job as something that lasts at least one year. The thousands of jobs supposedly lost to Biden's cancellation of the pipeline would have had a four- to eight-month duration.

According to the State Department, only about 50 full-time permanent positions would have been created - divided between the U.S and Canada.

Although, it could be argued that jobs would have been created to mitigate the inevitable spills. (In its fight against misinformation, Facebook flagged the original posting of the 11,000 job loss.)
