Fight virus like a war
History tells us that in prior wars, when munitions, airplanes, and tanks were needed, the industrial manufacturing community solved the problem.
So if we agree that we are at war against the virus, why not do the same thing today? We are hearing news of at least three vaccines that are very promising.
We now have the recipe to successfully make those vaccines. What we need is to convert all pharmaceutical manufacturing companies that are capable, to transition most of their processes to mass produce the vaccine.
This will allow us to distribute and inoculate many more American citizens sooner in the coming months as opposed to the proposed phased rollout well into next year.
Who drives a program like this? JBP? The presidents of Pfizer or Moderna? The president elect?
