Protect horses

I am writing to you today about the inhuman and unnecessary slaughter of American horses for export to Mexico and other countries. The brutality involved in this trade is diabolical and must be stopped. Our horses are part of America's history and must be protected. Please let people know about this cruel trade by writing about it in your paper.
