Trump betrays Christian values

How can you claim to be a Christian or an evangelical and accept or condone the behavior of Donald J. Trump by supporting him for the office of president?

He ridiculed a disabled reporter at a political rally, mocked a female reporter during a Republican debate because he did not like her line of questioning by stating she had "blood coming out of her wherever," and boasted that if he finds a female attractive he can just start kissing and fondling her because he is a star.

His words and behaviors are the very definition of verbal and sexual harassment. In most, if not all, corporate settings, any employee uttering these words or exhibiting these behaviors would be subject to disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

And, in anticipation of losing the 2020 election, Donald J. Trump has attempted to suppress voting by mail, suggesting that the only way he can lose the election is if it rigged, and threatened chaos if he does lose.

I will not be intimidated by his actions or words. I cannot and will not tolerate or accept these behaviors from anyone, much less someone seeking the office of president.

If verbal and sexual harassment do not offend you, you have every right to continue to support Donald J. Trump for president.

As for me, on Nov. 3, I hope to be one of the millions of voters that sends a resounding, loud-and-clear message to Donald J. Trump. You are fired.
