Just received information on a referendum to spend $9.6 million on the library Nov 3. Are you kidding?
Parking lot is never filled (even before COVID-19) and if approved, our property gets reassessed to pay more than their estimated assessment. Everything is going virtual, online books, videos and internet, the days of big fancy libraries are numbered.
The Pritzker and Madigan Fair Tax is a scam against the average tax payer. We are losing people daily from Illinois. They should reduce state employees in proportion to the our loss of residents.
Tax payers cannot afford to feed a bottomless money pit. It is our money.
