Accurate voting rolls
Last week, many registered voters may have received a vote-by-mail application for the upcoming Nov. 3 election. You may have also received some addressed to people who do not lived in your house. These folks are still on the voter rolls. Please do not throw these out. If the recipient should not be registered at your address write "RETURN TO SENDER" and give it back to the mail carrier.
This will let the election authority start the process of verifying that the person should not be registered at the address and eventually remove them.
If you have contact with the person, ask them to contact the board of election. If the registrant self identifies as someone to be removed (moved), the process is much quicker.
