Challenge McConnell

My husband and I are shocked by the deliberate refusal by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow the Senate to vote on bills he does not favor. That is not democracy. It is one man stifling democracy by not allowing it to function as intended. Living in Illinois, we don't have the opportunity to remove Sen. McConnell from office. But we can elect candidates from the other party so that he cannot continue as Majority Leader. Surely the stonewalling tactics he practices are an abuse of that office. His behavior is appalling and should be rejected by voters. Both parties must denounce this shameful refusal to bring bills to the Senate floor for a vote.
