Hard not to see voter suppression

I find it incomprehensible that election season after election season, we continue to see people standing in long lines waiting to vote as shown on the TV news recently. Sometimes they are strung out down the block or around the corner in good weather and bad.

These citizens must now cope with not only long waits, but the possibility of contracting the COVID-19 virus as well.

One can hardly avoid coming to the conclusion that these are deliberate moves on the part of certain parties running our elections to frustrate people from voting by making it as difficult and onerous as possible.

Elections are the underpinning of our democracy. Putting obstacles in the way of voting shows a willingness to put partisan interests before the good of the Nation.
