Congresswoman supports veterans

Congresswoman Lauren Underwood has consistently supported veterans for their service. Being a veteran myself, I am grateful we have a representative who values the sacrifice of our military veterans.

Lauren has introduced and worked across the aisle to ensure veterans have the necessary support during this crisis. She has worked on bills that prohibit the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for charging veterans copays for preventive services relating to COVID-19. Lauren has also written a bill that compels the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide training and counseling in suicide prevention for veterans. Finally, she has worked on providing Vietnam veterans with the same services that veterans of World War II and the Korean War receive.

With a representative like Lauren Underwood, veterans have a champion that will fight for them. After all these heroes deserve the rewards their heroism and sacrifice has afforded them.
